This is a binding purchase agreement to protect the Puppy, Buyer, and Seller.
Health Guarantee
The Breeder also known as Seller; guarantees the puppy for one ( 1 ) year from date of birth against developing life threatening genetic diseases or defects. If any of these problems are diagnosed by a licensed veterinarian, Buyer will provide any and all test results to Btreeder(Seller) for a replacement puppy. Breeder (Seller) will replace Buyer’s puppy free of charge within the first year of life from the next available litter and with one of the same value, color, and gender. To qualify for replacement, Buyer’s puppy must not have sired or whelped a litter. Buyer’s puppy must be returned with the puppies signed registration certificate at the time of replacement if applicable. If Buyer’s Veterinarian recommends having the puppy euthanized due to a genetic disease or defect, Breeder (Seller) must be notified first. Warranty for death due to congenital disease will be void if the puppy is euthanized without Breeder’s(Seller’s) consent. This guarantee does not cover cosmetic defects which in no way affect the soundness or health of a puppy, such as but not limited to hernias, over/under bites, coat color, or size, worms, coccidiosis, giardia, dermatitis. Bronchitis, and other stress related illnesses that are treatable and not reasons for return. Breeder (Seller) is not responsible for developments of faults, diseases, or disorders that may be prevented by proper care and nutrition. There are no cash refunds and Breeder (Seller) is not responsible for any veterinary expenses after purchase. This guarantee is void if Buyer has not taken proper care of the puppy. This includes, but is not limited to, necessary veterinary care, required vaccinations, feeding an age appropriate diet, grooming and proper housing and exercise.
Health and care of your new puppy
Your new Puppy will be put on a bi-weekly de-worming schedule, receive 2 series of vaccinations and have his/her 1st vet wellness checkup before it leaves the premises of the breeder. After the puppy leaves the Breeder’s care it is the responsibility of the buyer to take remaining care of the puppy’s vaccinations and vet care. Buyer must follow the regular vaccine, de-worming, and heart worm schedule for the first year of the puppy/dog's life. Microchips will be registered by j4 Corgis and Auggies, information will go home with puppy for transfer. Breeder is not responsible for any sickness the puppy has after it leaves our premises. The buyer understands that the puppy will leave the breeders care healthy, but the stress a puppy may endure being shipped and/or adapting to his/her new atmosphere may cause puppy’s immune system to become depressed and allow for any parasites to thrive Also, there is no guarantee on size, color, breeding, or show quality. If the puppy should no longer be available due to illness or accident, the breeder agrees to apply said deposit to another available puppy from this litter or another available litter.
Breeder, J4 Corgis and Auggies, suggests supplementing with NuVet Plus. This provides an immunity booster and gives proper vitamins and minerals. All our puppies are started on Nuvet at 6 weeks of age. Breeder, J4 Corgis and Auggies, also requires pet insurance to be activated before pickup to cover accidents or illnesses, for the first 30 days at no cost (Trupanion Pet Insurance), Insurance needs to be kept on puppy for the full 30 days. At the end of the free period you may end or change coverage. If you have your own insurance please send proof your new puppy is covered before pickup, if you have insurance that will kick in after a waiting period Trupanion will cover during the waiting period. Information will be emailed in the “Go home” email before pickup. If I do not receive conformation on the Pet Insurance, I will be in contact before pickup to ensure this is completed before picking up your new puppy. You may take a screenshot and email or text to me.
HOUSING AGREEMENT:
Your new puppy has been kept in a temperature regulated and controlled environment to keep them safe and healthy; Buyer agrees to provide puppy with a safe living environment where temperature and area can be controlled. This puppy is being placed with the understanding that he/she is being placed in a caring home; and as a new family member.
ADOPTION AGREEMENT:
The Buyer agrees that under NO CIRCUMSTANCES should they ever feel the need to surrender the puppy, that puppy described above will be placed in an animal shelter or rescue. If the Buyer should ever find themselves in a situation where the puppy cannot be kept, and a suitable, loving home cannot be found, the Breeder; also referred to as the Seller asks that the Buyer or next of kin to contact them for help. Breeder reserves 1st right of refusal. If necessary, the Breeder (Seller) will gladly aid in the re-homing process; there are times when we may provide temporary housing for the Dog/puppy until he/she can be placed. No refund will be provided by Breeder (Seller) for dogs over one year of age; for dogs(puppies) under twelve months of age refund will be based on rehoming amounts collected and any vet expenses that Breeder would face before rehoming.
I, the Breeder reserve the right at any time during the puppy’s 1st 8 weeks of life to refund your deposit and/or offer another available puppy if I feel there are compatibility or health issues.
